Welcome to the EMC Tool
The EMC tool looks at what you've done in the military to date by guiding you through a series of questions that collect information such as: your rating, pay grade, duty station history, training, NECs, qualifications (applicable to Mariner careers), and civilian education or credentials. The EMC tool then takes this information and helps guide you towards your ‘best-fit’ career development pathways including potential post-service occupational matches as well as industry and academic credentials.

Update
After your service record or session file, update or complete as much of the requested information as possible. Useful results are based on the completeness of the information you enter.
Even if you uploaded your service records, all information may not be complete.
Review
After you have entered and updated all your information, it is important to review each Review screen to make sure your information is as accurate and complete as you can make it.
